How was your weekend? Hope it was sweet! I’m in the middle of a juice cleanse and it is been entirely wonderful! I can not hold out to explain to you fellas all about it.
This earlier weekend I used a whole lot of time in the kitchen area acquiring recipes since I know I’ll be in Australia for the next couple of months and preferred to capture up on running a blog. It is awesome how significantly time I can devote myself when I’m cooking and baking my coronary heart feels written content.
But damn, can we just chat about these bars?
Breakfast is wanting sweet with that fairly chocolate drizzle. Am I correct or what?
Of study course they are a nutritious model of sweet since you know I’m usually searching out for your nutritional needs and waistline.
Just kidding. I’m actually only earning recipes up that appear exciting matters that I like to consume, bake, and create! I’ve realized that my system loves organic foods — and these easy oatmeal bars are precisely that. No flour, eggs, dairy, or butter!
These vegan oatmeal breakfast bars are designed with:
Gluten Free Oats (you get to make oat flour and it’s soooo quick)!
Ripe bananas.
Honey (or agave/maple syrup!).
A little little little bit of unsweetened applesauce (no additional cals from oil).
Chocolate chips for a little bit of sweetness.
I adapted this recipe from my pumpkin chocolate chip oat bars except these flavor like banana bread with wonderful oatmeal texture. If you have at any time put bananas in your early morning oats, you know what I’m talking about.
You are heading to appreciate these oat breakfast bars – they’re great for when you’re on the go and can be frozen so that you can just warmth them up for a rapid chunk! I’m guaranteed little ones would appreciate these in their lunchbox or as an just after college snack, as well.
For me, they are a good 3pm snack or a way to fulfill my sweet tooth in the evenings. 1 bar only has close to 116 energy!
